[Hiring] Clinical Pharmacist (Prior Authorization) @Pyramid Consulting

Role Description

Immediate need for a talented Clinical - Pharmacist (Prior Authorization). This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review prior authorization requests based on defined criteria to determine medication approval or denial.
• Meet a production goal of 90% with an average of 40 cases completed per day.
• Maintain a quality goal of 95% for Q1 2026 and 99% for Q2-Q4 2026.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance and transparency in the authorization process.
• Foster a culture of accountability, courage, curiosity, trust, and service within the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, hospital, managed care, or PBM settings, with prior authorization review experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
• Current state’s Pharmacist license with no restrictions.
• Preferred: Pharmacist Licenses in NC, CA, NJ, AZ, KS, TX, IN, GA.
• Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel is a plus.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills, flexibility, and the ability to learn quickly.

Requirements

• Pay Range: $56/hr - $59/hour.
