Role Description
We are looking for a Utah licensed Clinical Pharmacist to join a strong team of clinicians, analysts, clinical support staff, and trainees to utilize Arineβs software platform and to help optimize patient outcomes for our clients.

Provide expert level medication therapy consultation to patients and providers

Collaborate with the Engineering team and leadership to improve Arineβs software platform

Supervise the Clinical Care support team

Stay continuously up-to-date on developments in the fast-moving drug field

Maintain and review patient medication profiles

Counsel patients on appropriate drug use and promote adherence

Develop clinical recommendations and review completed medication reviews by other Virtual Pharmacist users

Interact with other health professionals to improve patient outcomes

Assist with orienting new team members and Virtual Pharmacist users

Facilitate prior authorizations and help patients find financial assistance

Review and evaluate clinical guidelines and workflow processes as assigned

Communicate effectively and maintain a cooperative working relationship with clients and colleagues

Accept constructive feedback professionally and continuously learn new skills
Qualifications
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college/university
-
Utah Licensed Pharmacist and in good standing (multiple state licenses are a plus)

Completion of a PGY-1 residency, or equivalent experience

Knowledge of chronic disease states, such as diabetes, heart failure, COPD, asthma, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and thought disorders

Experience working with patients of different cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds
Requirements

Ability to review and assess the appropriateness of prescriptions with respect to age specific, disease state specific considerations

Ability to engage with patients, promote adherence, and treat them with empathy and compassion

Ability to organize and set priorities accurately reflecting the relative importance of job responsibilities

Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions to work independently and meet deadlines
-
Ability to work effectively within a team and foster effective working relationships
-
Has knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
-
Has knowledge of prescription and non-prescription drugs and drug products and their indications, efficacy, dosage, mechanisms of action, major contraindications and potential side effects

Willingness and ability to obtain registered pharmacist license in other states, as needed
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Mac (Apple) environment
-
Ability to work 40 hours/week (within company operating hours of Monday-Friday, 6AM-6PM Pacific Time, with up to two rotating Saturday shifts/month)
