Role Description
The Clinical Application Specialist/Field Application Specialist (FAS) plays a critical role in driving customer adoption and utilization of the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) Technologies portfolio. The FAS provides application support throughout the customer lifecycle, starting with:

Pre-sale product demonstrations

Post-sale implementation

Training
-
Troubleshooting
-
Ongoing application support
The FAS generates initial proposals and refines them with the assistance of internal subject-matter experts prior to sharing with customers. The role serves as a key channel for customer feedback that supports continuous improvement of products, services, and commercialization strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related scientific field

3+ years of experience in Cell and Gene Therapy, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices, or a related field
-
Hands-on cell culture, cell processing, or cell therapy manufacturing experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Comfortable delivering customer training, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and public speaking engagements
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

Willingness to travel up to 50%
-
Ability to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English
Requirements

Owns customer application support for the CGT Technologies portfolio within assigned territory

Maintains working knowledge of the CGT Technologies portfolio

Collects and assesses customer unit operation requirements and designs customized protocols
-
Plans and conducts pre-sale demonstrations at customer sites
-
Leads post-sale implementations by aligning customer performance expectations with protocol design
-
Leads troubleshooting activities by collecting relevant information and coordinating technical analysis
-
Leads ongoing application support and relationship development through regular customer engagement
-
Maintains current knowledge of customers' manufacturing processes and technical issues
-
Partners with the Account Executive role to achieve annual objectives

Documents customer activities, protocols, product feedback, and follow-up actions
-
Builds strong customer relationships and collaborates with various stakeholders
-
Represents the company at customer meetings, conferences, and other business events
-
Travels as required to support customers and business objectives
-
Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management
-
Ensures compliance to company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems
Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 based on experience
