Role Description

MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team providing non-direct care services to our Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Office located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position is for 25 hours/week and can be done remotely, with travel to the office only as needed.

• Provides clinical expertise on child and adolescent psychiatry to the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
• Shares knowledge of evidence-informed practices in child/adolescent behavioral health.
• Supports the integration of those practices into OMHSAS policy, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborates with other Program Offices within the Department of Human Services on topics involving child/adolescent mental health.
• Participates in complex case discussions.
• Provides technical assistance to community and state providers and/or primary contractors on matters related to behavioral health challenges of community members and residents of state operated facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO)
• Current Board Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Strong interest in public and community psychiatry
• Pennsylvania medical license
• At least 5 years’ clinical experience
• All qualified applicants are required to successfully complete a security clearance process as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
