Role Description

Clarity Locums are currently recruiting experienced ED Nurses for ongoing agency virtual ward roles with a hospital client in Galway. This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses with a passion for emergency medicine who want to work as part of an exciting initiative.

• Perform remote initial assessment of patients admitted to the remote monitoring unit using digital health platforms, telehealth protocols, and contactless vital signs monitoring
• Identify suitable care plans from the platform and modify them for individual patient needs
• Monitor patients’ conditions via contactless vital signs App and video consultations with the patients
• Escalate changes in the patient condition in a timely manner
• Accurate documentation
• Working with the MDT to facilitate the individual needs of patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing
• Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
• Min 6 months Post Registration experience in an ED setting
• Familiarity with digital tools for documentation, remote monitoring, or video triage
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
