Role Description

At BioTRUST, we’re on a mission to help people live longer, healthier, more vibrant lives — and our website is how most of them find us. Nearly all of our revenue runs through BioTRUST.com and our landing pages, and today that entire surface sits with one person. We’re rebuilding the function around a different idea: one strong technical operator inside the company, supported by contracted development for the work that genuinely needs engineers. We’re looking for a Technical Ecommerce Manager to be that operator.

You’ll be the single front door for everything on our site — building pages and funnels, running the request queue, protecting site health, and deciding what is worth sending to developers. It’s hands-on work with real ownership and very little bureaucracy between you and shipping something.

What you will do

• Site operations: Build, schedule, and verify product pages, collections, homepage, and promotions.
• Landers and funnels: Write specs for landing pages, QA in staging, publish, and keep records of tests and outcomes.
• Checkout and subscription: Own plan setup, customer-facing flows, and monitor payment failures and declines.
• The technical stack: Fix configuration issues and write specs for code problems.
• Triage and project management: Manage requests from Customer Service, Brand, and Product, classify them, and resolve or route them.
• Vendor management: Review estimates, track hours, and manage response times.
• Site health: Conduct monthly reviews of speed, error rates, and conversion by funnel step.

What you need to be able to do

• Hands-on technical skills with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Shopify theme architecture knowledge.
• Basic Git skills.
• Expert level in Shopify admin.
• Configuration level experience with a subscription platform (Recharge preferred).
• Discounts and checkout configuration knowledge.
• App stack management skills.
• Data and tracking experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
• Project and vendor management skills.

Experience

• 3+ years running a Shopify store day to day in a direct-to-consumer business (Shopify Plus preferred).
• Direct, hands-on experience with a subscription platform.

Nice to have

• Experience in supplements, health, or wellness categories.
• A CRO or experimentation background.
• SQL or comfort reconciling numbers across systems.
• Experience working alongside an automated build or deployment pipeline.
