Role Description
The Senior Manager, eCommerce Sales Growth is responsible for driving the performance, execution, and continuous optimization of the company's digital commerce business across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), including Webroot and Carbonite Brands. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring seamless customer experiences while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and able to translate business objectives into scalable eCommerce processes and measurable results.

eCommerce Operations & Digital Merchandising:

Directing day-to-day operations across direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites, ensuring pricing, promotional execution, merchandising consistency, and operational excellence.

Monitoring channel health and key performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving operational or customer experience issues.

Driving digital merchandising strategies that improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer engagement.

Collaborating with Marketing and Creative teams to optimize on-site content, landing pages, and promotional messaging.

Supporting promotional campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal selling events to maximize revenue and business impact.

Analyzing channel, customer, and product-level performance to identify growth opportunities and business risks.

Monitoring competitor activity, emerging trends, and industry developments to help shape business strategy.

Supporting forecasting, performance reporting, and business reviews, focusing on communicating key sales drivers and pivotal business moments.

Growth, Optimization & Customer Experience:

Continuously evaluating website performance to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization (CRO), personalization, customer journey improvements, and revenue growth.

Conducting regular user experience and quality assurance reviews to proactively identify and resolve friction points that negatively impact customer satisfaction and conversion.

Leading the setup, execution, and measurement of personalization and optimization initiatives across customer journeys.

Leveraging analytics, behavioral insights, and customer feedback to optimize search functionality, site navigation, checkout flows, and overall digital experiences.

Collaborating with Marketing and Web teams to establish the CBU AI Discovery strategy across search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms.

Assessing brand visibility, share of voice, and competitive positioning within AI-generated search and recommendation experiences.

Developing strategies to improve digital discoverability through content optimization and technical website enhancements.

Monitoring industry trends and emerging best practices in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Search Optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement:

Defining business requirements for platform enhancements, system integrations, product launches, and process improvement initiatives.

Establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance models that increase scalability and enhance overall business performance.

Building strong partnerships across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Customer Support teams to ensure alignment.

Troubleshooting operational and technical issues that impact customer experience or revenue generation.

Identifying automation opportunities and leveraging AI, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in Consumer eCommerce (DTC) sales user experience and conversion optimization.

Superior analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data teams to derive actionable insights.

Expertise in web analytics tools, user behavior analysis, funnel analysis, and site performance tracking.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and complex information to broader stakeholders and executive leadership.

Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 plus commission; actual salary will depend on education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market.
California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education.
