Role Description
SOCi is seeking a versatile and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our fast-paced Professional Services team. This position encompasses developing and executing multi-channel social content strategies aligned with client business objectives, with the potential to manage a defined book of customers providing account management support.
- Craft compelling content and adapt campaigns to maximize impact.
- Advise clients and internal teams on social media best practices.
- Deliver strategic insights and foster client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely project completion.
- Make a meaningful impact in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience developing and executing on social media strategy (preferably within an agency or established brand setting).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Superb writing, editing, and design abilities.
- Balance of creativity and analytical thinking.
Requirements
- Ability to work 100% remotely until the Vancouver, BC office is in place; following this, the role will be 50/50 remote vs. in office.
- Stellar writing and editing skills.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent time management.
- Possesses crucial Customer Success qualities such as advocacy, patience, and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Google Business Profile, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and industry trends.
- Minimum of 2 years developing social content strategies for Facebook & Instagram; Google Business Profile a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in startup, social media marketing, and/or SaaS a plus.
- Experience working with creatives and providing creative direction and constructive feedback to content specialists.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills; webinar and/or speaker experience a plus.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with graphic design programs such as Canva.
