Role Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Coordinator to join our growing team at HELM! You’ll be working with our client in the Food industry in a remote capacity.

In this role, you will lead day-to-day social media execution, focusing on repurposing and improving existing graphics, creating visually engaging content for social platforms, and maintaining a consistent brand presence. You will work independently to manage and publish social content while collaborating with a copywriter who provides written materials.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in social media design, strong in Adobe InDesign and related tools, visually creative yet detail-oriented, and comfortable owning social execution in a lean, non-team environment.

  • Repurpose and enhance existing marketing graphics for social media.
  • Design visually engaging social media posts aligned with brand standards.
  • Format and adapt copy provided by a separate writer into compelling visual posts.
  • Prepare content for publication across social media platforms.
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand alignment across posts.
  • Organize and manage digital assets for ongoing use.
  • Monitor post formatting and ensure quality before publishing.
  • Coordinate as needed with the internal point of contact managing overall direction.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing and designing for social media platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (required).
  • Strong visual design skills with a clean, modern aesthetic.
  • Experience repurposing existing content into new, engaging formats.
  • Ability to work independently in a lean marketing structure.
  • Clear spoken and written English.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing deadlines without supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with strong brand consistency awareness.
  • Available to work Eastern Time (EST) hours within 9 AM – 5 PM.
  • Reliable home office setup with strong internet connection.

Requirements

  • Location: Remote (contractor basis)
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
  • Pay Range: $15 – $20 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Equipment: BYO devices
