[Hiring] Social Media and Email Marketing Manager @Respira

Role Description

They're looking for a hands-on Social Media & Email Marketing Manager to own their organic social presence and lifecycle email marketing. This is a part-time role (20–25 hours/week) to start, with real potential to grow into full-time as the marketing engine scales, they're prioritizing finding the right person over filling hours.

You'll work closely with the founder and CEO to grow their audience, keep their community engaged, and turn customers into repeat buyers through smart, consistent email and social strategy.

What You'll Do

• Social Media
  • Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Develop a consistent content calendar mixing product demos, customer reviews/UGC, before-and-after oil change content, and brand personality
  • Edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok-style clips) using Canva and CapCut
  • Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement
  • Track performance and adjust content strategy based on what's working
• Email Marketing (Klaviyo)
  • Own and optimize Klaviyo flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and accessory upsell/cross-sell
  • Build and send campaign emails (promotions, new product launches, seasonal oil-change reminders)
  • Segment and grow the email list in coordination with the 20%-off signup offer
  • A/B test subject lines, send times, and content to improve open and click rates
  • Report on key metrics (open rate, CTR, revenue per email/flow)
• Cross-Functional
  • Coordinate social and email messaging with Meta paid ad efforts and overall brand calendar
  • Stay current on ecommerce and automotive DIY trends relevant to our audience

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media and email marketing for an ecommerce/DTC brand
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo (building flows and campaigns, not just sending)
• Comfort working inside Shopify (product data, discount codes, basic storefront awareness)
• Strong organic content instincts for Meta/Instagram
• Proficiency with Canva and CapCut for content creation and short-form video editing
• Self-starter who can own the calendar and execute independently
• Strong writing skills — you can capture brand voice quickly
• Bonus: familiarity with the automotive, DIY, or garage/tool space
