[Hiring] Social & Community Manager @Xometry

Role Description

Xometry is looking for a Social & Community Manager to own how the brand shows up, sounds, and responds across organic social and community spaces every single day. You will be the face of Xometry online — the daily voice, the person engaging in the communities where our buyers and suppliers already are, and the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks when someone reaches out. This role is part storyteller, part community builder, part first responder. You keep the content calendar on track and partner with our agency on production, but the voice, the engagement, and the day-to-day judgment calls are yours. You'll stand up the tools and triage process that let us listen and respond in real time, and you'll pull in subject matter experts when a conversation needs real technical credibility behind it.

• Serve as the face of Xometry and operational lead for organic social & community — owning daily voice, community engagement, and servicing triage
• Represent Xometry in buyer and supplier communities (forums, Reddit, YouTube)
• Stand up a social listening/servicing tool
• Own the social content calendar and partner with the agency on content creation
• Establish a servicing triage process for community and social inquiries

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience managing organic social and/or online community programs, ideally in a B2B or technical industry
• Strong writing skills and a distinct, adaptable voice — comfortable engaging authentically in forums, Reddit, and other community spaces
• Experience with or working knowledge of social listening/servicing tools
• Ability to triage and prioritize inbound engagement, knowing when to respond directly and when to loop in subject matter experts
• Comfort partnering with an agency on content production while retaining ownership of voice and strategy
• A proactive, community-first mindset — you notice what's happening in the conversation and show up in it
