Role Description

As an SEO Specialist, you will drive organic growth through data-driven SEO strategies, leveraging your hands-on experience in the iGaming industry to:

• Identify valuable keyword opportunities
• Improve search visibility
• Compete effectively in challenging search landscapes

You will stay up to date with SEO best practices, test and implement new approaches to optimize performance, share insights with the team, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal SEO processes, reporting, and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Over the next 6 months, you will:

• Use your SEO skills to:
• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to uncover issues affecting crawlability, indexation, site structure, and website performance
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities across casino and iGaming topics
• Develop and implement SEO strategies that align keyword intent, content, and business goals
• Work closely with our content writer to plan topics, create SEO content briefs, and optimise existing articles. Write or edit content independently when needed
• Apply on-page SEO best practices, improve internal linking, and identify opportunities to strengthen topical authority
• Work with developers and relevant team members to implement SEO recommendations
• Support affiliate management activities, including researching potential partners, maintaining affiliate relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve organic traffic and affiliate performance
• Put your backlink-building hat on, and geek out by:
• Developing and executing backlink acquisition campaigns to improve website authority and organic visibility
• Identifying relevant link opportunities through competitor analysis, publisher research, and outreach
• Monitoring backlink profiles and evaluating link quality
• Use data to drive decisions and measure success by:
• Tracking SEO performance using Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GA4
• Analysing organic traffic, keyword rankings, search visibility, and landing page performance to identify opportunities
• Monitoring competitor rankings and SERP changes to understand what's working and where we can improve
• Tracking content and SEO improvements to measure their impact on organic performance
• Reporting key insights, wins, and opportunities to the team in a clear, actionable way
• Ongoing, you will:
• Identify new opportunities, test, and learn:
• Stay on top of iGaming SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, AI advancements, and industry shifts
• Continuously refine technical SEO, content, internal linking, and link-building efforts based on performance data
• Identify opportunities to improve existing content, expand keyword coverage, and strengthen organic visibility
• Take ownership of your SEO work:
• Manage day-to-day SEO tasks and keep projects moving according to agreed priorities and deadlines
• Turn SEO data and research into practical recommendations and improvements
• Work closely with our content writer and wider team to keep SEO initiatives on track

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience
• Experience in iGaming SEO, particularly with casino-related content, publishers, or affiliate websites
• Strong skills in keyword research, competitor analysis, content optimisation, and technical SEO
• Experience conducting SEO audits and identifying opportunities to improve crawlability, indexation, internal linking, and site structure
• Ability to create SEO content briefs and optimise existing content, with strong writing and editing skills
• Experience with backlink research, link building, and competitor backlink analysis
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4
• Ability to analyse SEO data and turn findings into actionable recommendations
• Solid understanding of Google algorithm updates, search ranking factors, and SEO best practices
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with content writers, developers, and other team members
• Personable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with others
• Possess a growth mindset: proactive, curious, and always looking for ways to improve

Advantageous or Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field
• Experience in content writing, with the ability to create engaging, SEO-friendly content aligned with target keywords and search intent
• An understanding of affiliate management, including affiliate partnerships, performance tracking, and opportunities to improve affiliate-driven results
• Experience with iGaming affiliate SEO and affiliate management, including casino reviews, comparison content, and affiliate partnerships
• Experience with international SEO or improving organic conversion performance
