Role Description
A fashion wholesale marketing company is looking for an end to end SEO analyst to take ownership of the organic search strategy. This mid-level role is suited for someone who has moved beyond execution-only SEO tasks and is comfortable taking ownership of projects - from technical audits and keyword strategy, through to reporting on business impact. The role involves working with marketing, product, and development teams to:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experiences)

3-5 years of hands-on experience in an SEO role, with a track record of measurable organic growth

Strong working knowledge of SEO and analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console

Solid command of technical SEO fundamentals - site architecture, schema markup, Core Web Vitals crawl

Comfortable reading and discussing HTML CSS and how front-end decisions affect SEO (no coding required)

Experience in footwear, apparel, retail or wholesale B2B e-commerce

Experience optimizing large product catalogues and category-based site structures

Familiarity with paid search (SEM) and how it complements the organic strategy

Relevant certifications e.g. Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Hub Spot SEO Certification

Prior experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members
Requirements

Own and drive the end-to-end SEO strategy across on-page, technical and off-page workstreams, with minimal oversight

Lead in-depth keyword research, search-intent mapping, and competitive analysis to identify and prioritise high-value growth opportunities

Conduct technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structural data) and manage remediation with development teams

Develop and oversee on-page optimization guidelines (meta data, headers, internal linking, content structure) across product, category and brand pages, ensuring consistent implementation site-wide

Optimize the product catalogue for search - product titles, descriptions, filters and category structure to improve discoverability for both wholesale buyers and retail customers

Partner with content creators, and monitor link-building and digital PR strategies to strengthen domain authority

Own SEO performance reporting - rankings, organic traffic, conversions and revenue impact - using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools, translating data into clear recommendations for stakeholders and leadership

Monitor algorithm updates and industry trends, proactively adjusting strategy and flagging risks or opportunities

Manage local SEO initiatives (Google Business Profile, citations, reviews) where relevant to the business

Mentor and provide guidance to junior SEO or marketing team members as needed
