Role Description
The Sr. Regional Marketing Manager owns regional marketing strategy and execution across Northeast/Canada and the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast regions. This is a senior individual contributor role for a creative, self-directed marketer who can build a regional plan, adapt it as the market shifts, and drive it to pipeline results by working cross-functionally across the business. We're looking for someone who thinks like an owner: comfortable setting direction with limited guidance, quick to test new ideas, and energized by building something rather than just running a playbook.
Key Responsibilities
-
Regional Marketing Strategy:
-
Own and drive the field marketing strategy for the Northeast/Canada and Mid-Atlantic/Southeast regions, translating company and pipeline goals into a regional plan.
-
Set regional objectives, target segments and accounts, and KPIs, and adjust the plan as market conditions, competitive dynamics, or sales priorities change.
-
Bring a point of view on where and how to invest regional budget and time for the best return, rather than waiting for direction.
-
Ensure regional plans stay tightly aligned with corporate marketing, product marketing, sales, and revenue goals.
-
Campaign & Pipeline Execution:
-
Plan and run integrated regional campaigns (field events, targeted account marketing programs, executive roundtables, third-party conferences, digital/local activations) that build and accelerate pipeline.
-
Partner with sales leadership on targeted account marketing for strategic accounts in each region.
-
Metrics & Performance Analysis:
-
Define and track the KPIs that matter for each region: MQLs, stage 3 pipeline created and/or accelerated, meetings booked, event- and partner-sourced opportunities, and campaign ROI, and report on them consistently.
-
Use a mix of campaign data and qualitative feedback from the field to decide what to scale, adjust, or cut across both regions.
-
Analyze results after every major campaign or event to capture what worked, what didn't, and why, and apply those lessons to the next program.
-
Bring a data-driven point of view into regional planning conversations with sales and marketing leadership, and use metrics to justify budget and program decisions.
-
Regional Market Presence & Brand Visibility:
-
Build the company's presence and reputation in aligned regions through a mix of field marketing events and local thought leadership.
-
Shape regional positioning and messaging, informed by competitive and industry trends specific to each market.
-
Represent the regions internally by flagging opportunities, risks, and market shifts to marketing and sales leadership.
-
Partner & Systems Integrator Engagement:
-
Partner with the corporate partner team and regional partner sales managers to integrate strategic partners and systems integrators into regional events and campaigns.
-
Use partner co-marketing to strengthen those relationships, showcase the strength of the partner ecosystem to customers and prospects, and drive incremental event attendance and engagement.
-
Build joint regional programs with priority partners and SIs that create mutual pipeline value for both organizations.
-
Track partner participation and contribution to regional event performance, and share results back with the partner team.
-
Budget & Resource Management:
-
Own the field marketing budget for both regions, allocating spend across programs to maximize pipeline and brand impact.
-
Track, forecast, and report on spend and ROI, and make the case for reallocating budget when a program isn't performing.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sales Partnership:
-
Act as marketing business partner to regional sales teams, planning, delivering, and monitoring pipeline creation and contribution, and optimizing integrated activities across all channels to track results and maximize ROI.
-
Act as the connective tissue between regional sales and BDR/SDR teams and corporate marketing, product marketing, and regional marketing leadership to keep regional execution moving.
-
Communicate proactively with stakeholders, manage production timelines, and keep everyone aligned without needing heavy oversight.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
-
10+ years of field, regional, or demand generation marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology; experience in the data, AI, or database/graph technology space is a plus.
-
Proven track record in building and executing a regional marketing strategy from the ground up, not just running pre-built campaigns.
-
Strong grasp of targeted account marketing, pipeline metrics, and marketing/sales alignment.
-
Comfortable working in marketing analytics and reporting tools to track performance and guide decisions.
-
Experience working with partner or channel teams and integrating partners/SIs into field programs is a plus.
-
Willing to take ownership of stretch projects outside the core job description when the business needs it.
-
A creative thinker who brings fresh campaign ideas and isn't afraid to try something new in-market.
-
A genuine self-starter and can-do problem-solver who takes ownership without waiting to be told what's next.
-
Excellent project management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
-
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership abilities, comfortable operating at the Sr. Manager level with both field teams and senior stakeholders.
-
Proficiency with marketing technology and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, Asana, or similar CRM/MAP/event/project management platforms).
-
Willingness to travel regularly across both assigned regions.
Benefits
-
Annual base salary range: $150,000 β $200,000 USD.
-
Eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus.
-
Participation in the Companyβs standard benefit programs, which currently include:
-
Medical, dental, and vision benefits
-
401(k)
-
Paid time off
-
Certain leaves of absence
