[Hiring] Senior Paid Media Specialist @Ideals

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Specialist to manage a substantial six-figure budget across multiple surfaces. While our external agency partner is executing the primary ad networks (Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) day-to-day, we need a strategic in-house owner to drive high-level direction, keep our agency aligned with pipeline milestones, and spot growth opportunities ahead of the market.

In this outcome-focused position, you will:

• Lead optimization and review campaign performance.
• Guide high-level direction rather than build assets manually.
• Retain full autonomy to experiment with emerging surfaces or validate fresh acquisition channels.

Based remotely in Ukraine or across the EU (open to Ukrainian speakers), you'll play a key role in expanding our global acquisition footprint. You'll work closely with cross-functional team members across our Brand, Creative, and Digital groups.

What you will do

• Collaborate with our agency partner to review Search, Performance Max, Meta, LinkedIn, and brand campaigns, maintaining strict accountability to CPL and CPQL targets.
• Direct a six-figure budget across half-year planning cycles: managing allocation, reforecasting, and business cases for scaling or reallocating spend.
• Monitor MQL and SQL pipelines against product-specific cost ceilings, taking decisive action when channel performance dips below threshold.
• Assess and pitch emerging paid surfaces (incl. comparison platforms, pay-per-lead networks, and new ad channels) to expand acquisition reach.
• Execute directly on specialized tests and channels outside agency scope, delivering rapid, in-house turnarounds on high-priority pilots.
• Collaborate with marketing leads on brand initiatives and partner with content and design teams to refine high-performing ad creative.

Qualifications

• 4+ years running paid media, with real ownership of budgets in the same range you'd manage here.
• Fluent across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Brand) and Meta/LinkedIn, not a single-channel specialist.
• Comfortable with unit economics: CPL, CPQL, MQL/SQL, and translating them into budget decisions.
• Confident managing an external agency: setting goals, reviewing their output, pushing back when needed.
• Self-directed: you arrive with a point of view on what to fix, not waiting to be told.
• English level is B2 and above.
• Comfortable building AI into your daily workflow, and sharp enough to catch its errors: we provide full Claude access.

Nice to have

• Experience working with advanced analytics tools (i.e., Tableau).
• Google Analytics or Google Ads Certification.
• Relevant industry and/or SaaS experience.
• Early hands-on experience with newer surfaces like ChatGPT Ads.
