[Hiring] Senior Manager, Events @Cyera

YDay - Cyera is hiring a remote Senior Manager, Events. πŸ’Έ Salary: unspecified πŸ“Location: UK

Role Description

We're building an EMEA Events Centre of Excellence, and we're looking for a leader to make it world class. EMEA runs a high-volume programme of 60-100 events a year, from flagship conferences, hosted road shows and sponsored trade shows, including all the marquee security events across the region. This role builds the operating engine behind that programme, standardising how we plan, execute, measure and amplify events so that every one of them builds Cyera's brand awareness and engages the right prospect and customer audiences, uncovering new opportunities that drive pipeline and revenue.

You will work alongside our Field Marketing Managers and Partner Marketing so they can focus on local strategy while you provide the playbooks, agency network, content engine and performance insight that help every event land at the highest level. Your goal is to elevate our events: bringing out-of-the-box thinking and creativity, taking organisation to another level, and holding high standards across the board.

You are an equal parts operator, analyst and storyteller. You'll report honestly on what each event delivers in pipeline and ROI, and use that evidence to double down on what works, pivot where needed, and cut what doesn't. Just as importantly, you bring great energy and a team mindset, and you make the people around you better.

In line with the growing ambitions of the region, and on the back of our success in supporting the business to grow, you will also build a team around you.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalise and scale events.
  • Build the EMEA events centre of excellence: standard processes, planning timelines, templates, budget and approval workflows, vendor frameworks and quality benchmarks.
  • Support Field and Partner Marketing.
  • Own events performance and ROI.
  • Manage the EMEA agency ecosystem.
  • Build event content and noise.
  • Partner across marketing and sales.
  • Build a branded EMEA road show and regional communities.
  • Lead/support customer advisory boards and executive briefings.
  • Build and grow the team.
  • Drive innovation.

Success in the First 12 Months

  • A documented, adopted events operating model across the EMEA team.
  • A single view of event performance and ROI, reviewed quarterly with leadership.
  • A preferred agency and video partner model in place across key markets.
  • A repeatable event-to-content workflow producing consistent, regionally relevant assets.
  • A branded EMEA road show launched in priority markets, with partner forums and locally relevant customer and prospect content.
  • An EMEA Customer Advisory Board and EBC programme running to a clear, globally aligned structure.
  • A team structure and hiring plan agreed and under way.
  • Measurable improvement in pipeline per event pound spent, with underperforming events reallocated.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in B2B event or field marketing, ideally in cybersecurity, data or enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven experience running a high-volume, multi-format events programme across EMEA.
  • Experience creating branded, repeatable event series, such as road shows.
  • Strong analytical skills, including hands-on Salesforce reporting.
  • Experience managing and negotiating with agencies and vendors across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Experience working with video and content teams to produce fast-turnaround event content.
  • Experience delivering executive briefings, EBCs or customer advisory boards.
  • A track record of building scalable processes and operating models.
  • Confidence engaging senior and C-level customers, prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Budget ownership and strong financial discipline.
  • The ambition and ability to build and lead a team as the function grows.
  • Creativity, high energy and a team mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA.

Benefits

  • Ability to work remotely, with office setup reimbursement.
  • Paid holidays and sick time.
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance.
