[Hiring] Senior Events Growth Manager @Platform Engineering Masters

Role Description

We’re looking for an Events Growth Marketing Manager to own registration and attendance growth across our entire events portfolio. This includes:

• Our flagship conferences, PlatformCon and AgenticCon, which travel to San Francisco, London, Sydney, New York, and Berlin.
• Roadshows, roundtables, workshops, House of Kube (the largest party in the cloud native world), and satellite events in cities around major conferences such as AWS re:Invent, KubeCon, and Google Cloud Next.

Your goal is to bring platform engineering leaders into the room and keep them coming back. This is a systems and relationships role, not a one-off campaign role. You’ll build the growth loops, the audience, and the repeatable playbook needed to fill these events and drive high attendance every time. You’ll report to the Head of Growth.

Qualifications

• A systems thinker who works in growth loops, not one-off tactics.
• Experience in B2B SaaS marketing; experience in event-driven businesses is a plus.
• A track record of building and growing audiences and driving real attendance at in-person events, not just registrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot for segmentation and targeting.
• Comfort running social campaigns and briefing paid campaigns.
• The ability to work independently with complete ownership, and to build a repeatable system rather than firefighting each event.
• Work closely with the design team to produce strong event visuals for Luma pages and website pages.
• Comfortable with occasional travel to our event cities when an event calls for it.

Requirements

• Build growth loops and long-term relationships with the platform engineering community, its practitioners, and its leaders.
• Own our event pages on Luma and the end-to-end campaigns that fill them.
• Plan campaigns designed for a high attendance rate.
• Use HubSpot and Luma to build and target the right audience segments for each event.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure high-quality event pages and strong copy and assets.
• Brief and work with our performance marketing and lifecycle managers for paid and email support behind each event.
• Build the systems and the playbook that let us fill these events repeatedly.
