[Hiring] Senior Brand Marketing Manager @CircleCI

Role Description

CircleCI helps more than two million developers ship software confidently. The way software gets built and shipped is getting turned on its head, and our brand has to meet the moment. It has a clear center: the developer is the hero of our story. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to lead it into its next chapter. Our team is small by design, the category is at an inflection point, and you'll be close to the decisions that shape what comes next.

This is a strategic individual contributor role on the Content team, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. You'll work every day with Content and Visual Design, which together act as an in-house agency for the rest of marketing. You'll be the steward of our customer and of our copy. We're investing in brand, and you'll have a focused budget and leadership behind you.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in brand, product marketing, or creative marketing, ideally for a B2B, developer, or technical audience.
• Excellent writing, shown in samples.
• The confidence to say "this isn't us" and the patience to teach why.
• Agency experience, or real enthusiasm for the pace.
• Experience enabling a distributed content model through guidelines, examples, and coaching.
• A feel for what matters to software developers.
• Uses AI as a tool, and knows when to throw out what doesn't meet the mark.
• Experience with positioning and messaging, and presenting both to executives.
• Experience influencing partners across a matrixed company.
• A track record of writing that moves the numbers.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

• United States Base Pay Range: $127,500 — $159,000 USD.
• Expected salary range for San Francisco and the surrounding area: $147,500 — $183,500 USD.
