Role Description
World Vision is seeking a mission-oriented team member to join our Marketing division as a Senior Acquisition and Onboarding Lead. In this role, you will own the acquisition-to-onboarding journey (First 12 months) for World Vision’s flagship Sponsorship product, ensuring new sponsors are welcomed with clarity, trust, and early connection that reduces first-year churn and accelerates long-term commitment.
With support from the Director of Sponsor Experience, this role sets the onboarding journey strategy, builds and maintains an acquisition asset library, and designs new onboarding experiences, aligning touchpoints, messaging, and expectations into a coherent sponsor experience.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, customer lifecycle/onboarding, digital product marketing, journey/CRM, or related sponsor/customer experience roles.

Demonstrated experience in child sponsorship acquisition channel marketing, and leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution (briefs, requirements, launch readiness, measurement).

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence (without direct authority), build cross-functional alignment, and translate learning into scalable implementation.

Estimated hiring range: $96,500 - $137,030.

The posted hiring salary range reflects pay for U.S. locations and is determined using market data and internal compensation guidelines. Actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, and applicable laws.

Define onboarding strategy, segmentation, and success measures; maintain a sequenced roadmap of initiatives that reduce early churn and improve first-year engagement.

Translate sponsor journey requirements into clear briefs, acceptance criteria, and decision points for Creative, Digital/Product, and channel partners.

Lead acquisition enablement by developing, governing, and evolving channel-facing messaging frameworks and training.

Partner with Evidence/Impact and Programming stakeholders to steward sponsor-facing expectations and claims.

Establish and govern onboarding measurement including early cancellation rates and sponsor first-year churn metrics.

Design and run test-and-learn plans for onboarding improvements.

Coordinate readiness for onboarding changes, including stakeholder alignment and change communications.

Maintain and evolve documentation and playbooks for acquisition enablement and onboarding.

Partner with acquisition channel leaders and Sponsor Care/Service teams to align onboarding promises with operational reality.

Represent Sponsor Experience/Sponsorship Product Marketing in cross-functional forums as assigned.
