[Hiring] Salesforce Marketing Automation Consultant @Bluprintx

Role Description

A hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) consultant who owns day-to-day campaign execution. Time is split between BAU campaigns and proactive platform for a key client and backlog work for the internal team across SFMC and Marketo. Senior Consultants set strategy and handle escalations. This role takes real ownership of daily builds and client communication, working proactively rather than waiting for tickets. Ability to cross train into Marketo and/or other platforms with support is highly desirable.

What you'll do

• Client support: own everyday SFMC execution for a dedicated client, including email builds, audience segmentation and campaign launches.
• Email production: build clean, responsive emails from scratch and adapt code from the existing template library.
• Personalisation and journeys: set up dynamic content with AMPscript and manage automated flows in Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
• Data and segmentation: write basic-to-intermediate SQL queries to pull and manage subscriber lists including ongoing contact management and remediation.
• Team backlog: pick up broader marketing automation requests across SFMC and Marketo, including light Marketo work (smart lists, filter logic).
• Client engagement: speak directly with client stakeholders to keep builds moving and give clear status updates.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years' marketing automation experience, with practical SFMC use across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio and Data Extensions.
• Mid-level AMPscript: pulling personalisation from data schemas (complex SSJS and nested joins not required).
• Solid HTML/CSS email coding, for new templates and updates to existing ones.
• Comfortable writing basic SQL to segment audiences. Solution Architects handle heavy data modelling.
• Clear, direct written and spoken English for everyday client updates.
• A people person who builds relationships and engages confidently with clients.

• Baseline Marketo knowledge, or a quick-learning mindset for list management and filter logic.
