Role Description
Avolve is seeking a strategic, hands-on Product Marketing Manager to strengthen and execute the product marketing function under the direction of Marketing leadership. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships, translating product capabilities, customer needs, and market intelligence into clear positioning and coordinated go-to-market execution.
The Product Marketing Manager will guide the narrative for Avolve’s product portfolio across the buyer and customer journey. This person will help establish the operating rhythm for launches, equip revenue teams to communicate differentiated value, strengthen partner-facing product marketing, and help customers understand and adopt new capabilities. Success requires equal strength in strategy, research, storytelling, collaboration, and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities

Product Positioning, Messaging, and Portfolio Story

Maintain and evolve positioning, messaging, value propositions, and proof points for Avolve’s product portfolio, priority solutions, and new capabilities.

Translate technical features and roadmap themes into clear customer outcomes for distinct public-sector personas, departments, use cases, and buying stages.

Create and maintain foundational messaging frameworks, including audience definitions, problem statements, competitive differentiation, message hierarchies, and approved claims.

Develop accurate, differentiated product messaging and content aligned with Avolve’s brand and voice.

Create and maintain competitive briefs, battlecards, objection-handling guidance, and differentiated talk tracks for customer-facing teams.

Go-to-Market Strategy and Launch Excellence

Develop and manage a rolling product marketing plan aligned with the Director of Marketing’s strategy and connected to roadmap priorities, campaigns, enablement, customer communications, and partner needs.

Lead go-to-market planning for product launches, releases, packaging changes, integrations, and strategic initiatives from strategy through post-launch review.

Coordinate launch audiences, deliverables, owners, readiness requirements, timelines, and risks across relevant teams, escalating unresolved issues as needed.

Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Enablement

Equip Sales and Customer Success with value narratives, discovery guidance, persona-based messaging, presentations, briefs, one-pagers, FAQs, case studies, demos, competitive tools, and objection responses.

Create customer-facing adoption and education materials that help users understand the value of new and existing capabilities.

Develop partner-ready messaging, co-sell materials, solution briefs, and product updates that support repeatable partner go-to-market motions.

Gather structured feedback from customer-facing teams and partners, then use it to improve messaging, enablement, and launch execution.

Measurement and Operating Cadence

Track established product marketing KPIs and provide concise reporting on results, insights, risks, and recommended improvements.

Manage assigned product marketing projects and vendors responsibly, within approved priorities and budget parameters.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum 4-6 years of relevant product marketing, solutions marketing, or go-to-market experience in B2B or B2G technology.

Experience developing messaging, supporting product launches, conducting market and competitive research, and creating sales enablement materials.

Exceptional visual storytelling and presentation development skills, with the ability to transform complex product capabilities, market insights, and customer value propositions into polished, compelling, executive-level presentations and go-to-market assets.

Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional projects, manage competing priorities, and use data and feedback to improve execution.

Proficiency with HubSpot and Asana, including using these platforms to manage marketing programs, workflows, content, reporting, and cross-functional projects.

Demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly to support research, analysis, content development, and day-to-day productivity while applying sound judgment and quality control.

Experience with GovTech, public-sector software, GIS, permitting, plan review, partner marketing, or complex public-sector sales is preferred.

Self-motivated, self-directed, solution-oriented, and results-driven, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment, is a must.
