[Hiring] Performance Media Buyer @Lead Gen

Role Description

We’re hiring a hands-on media buyer to run social campaigns for affiliate lead generation offers. What’s exciting about this role isn’t the base, it’s the uncapped commission.

We include the base just to give a bit of security since performance can be volatile, but the real excitement is in the total income potential. If you’ve worked in affiliate lead gen before, this will make sense to you. But it comes with a high degree of responsibility. You will be expected to take full control of the verticals you are given without a ton of guidance and hand holding.

We really value having a great life outside of work, but because of the large budgets and high level of responsibility, sometimes this means checking in on weekends, evenings, etc.

Platforms you will be running on are primarily Meta, Youtube, and Tiktok. We sometimes run on Snapchat, Newsbreak, Applovin’, and Connected TV as well. Really, any place we can buy media profitably.

You’ll be responsible for entire verticals. You’ll have a team of video editors to work with, a great developer, and media buyers under you to help you. Your main goal is to scale verticals profitably, so really everything that this entails will be your responsibility.

You will also be working in English, so fluency is a requirement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on media buying experience, including current Meta Ads experience.
• Experience personally managing $10,000+ per day in ad spend.
• An affiliate lead generation or high-spend direct-response e-commerce background.
• Experience writing scripts, developing creatives, and taking campaigns from initial testing to profitable scale.
• An ability to think outside the box - and think how to drive quality leads to our buyers so that they’re excited, pay more, etc.
• The ability to decide what to test, what to cut, and where to increase spend without waiting for daily instructions.
• A strong understanding of setting up proper tracking.
• Fluent in English.

Requirements

• Write video ad scripts. Research the offer and customer, develop hooks, write direct-response scripts, and create new versions based on results.
• Create image ads. Turn ideas into static ads using AI and design tools. Test different headlines, visuals, and layouts.
• Use AI to get more work done. Research customer pain points, develop angles, draft scripts, generate images, and speed up creative production.
• Work directly with video editors. Send scripts, reference ads, and specific editing instructions. Review drafts and give clear feedback on what to change.
• Launch and manage Meta campaigns. Build campaigns, publish ads, set budgets, and check that tracking is working before spending.
• Manage budgets daily. Increase spend on profitable campaigns, cut losing tests, and move budget between campaigns and offers based on results, lead quality, and buyer capacity.
• Keep finding ways to scale. Turn winning ads into new variations, test fresh concepts, improve landing pages, and launch new offers. Don’t rely on one winning creative.
• Track profit and lead quality. Watch spend, revenue, CPL, margins, accepted leads, and downstream buyer feedback. Cheap leads aren’t a win if they don’t convert for the buyer.
