[Hiring] Performance Marketing Lead @saas.group

Role Description

This role is part of our Central Marketing Team at saas.group. We are looking for a German-speaking Performance Marketing Lead to oversee paid acquisition across our portfolio.

• Own the standards, strategy, and quality bar for paid across our portfolio.
• Set the systems and direction and lead the freelancer network.
• Be hands-on with the most valuable brands and judge the quality of work.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

• Take ownership of our most valuable paid accounts and demonstrably move performance.
• Set a consistent standard across all brand accounts.
• Take over the paid accounts of a newly acquired brand cleanly.

Responsibilities

• Own paid performance strategy and standards across the portfolio.
• Run the most valuable accounts hands-on (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Lead and support PPC freelancers: set targets, review accounts, approve budgets.
• Advise brands directly on strategy and budget allocation.
• Take over newly acquired brands' paid setups and build systems, documentation, and reporting.
• Partner closely with the data analytics team on tracking and attribution.
• Regularly connect with the SEO Team Lead to remain aligned with campaigns.

Qualifications

• Several years owning paid budgets (think €1M+ a year) while staying genuinely hands-on.
• Demonstrated B2B lead-gen experience on search.
• A track record across very different budget sizes.
• Deep Google Ads and Microsoft Ads expertise, strong LinkedIn Ads experience.
• German at C1 or native level, strong enough to write compelling German ad copy.
• Genuine AI fluency and the drive to put it to work.
