We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven Performance & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead customer retention, organic growth, content strategy, and digital performance across multiple brands.
This role is ideal for someone who can blend creativity with data, optimize customer acquisition efficiency, drive retention, and scale brands past $5M profitably.

Key Responsibilities
Retention & Lifecycle Marketing
- Own customer retention strategies across email, SMS, and loyalty programs, focusing on increasing LTV, engagement, and repeat purchases.
- Develop and automate lifecycle marketing flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase upsells, re-engagement).
- Segment customers using RFM analysis and behavioral triggers to deliver personalized, high-converting experiences.
- Monitor and optimize retention KPIs (repeat purchase rate, revenue per recipient, email/SMS conversion rates).
- Develop a zero-party data collection strategy to improve customer insights and retention efforts.
- Work with copywriters and designers to create high-performing email/SMS content that matches customer psychology and engagement trends.
SEO & Content Marketing
- Own and execute an SEO strategy that increases organic traffic and revenue across multiple brands.
- Develop a content roadmap that supports search visibility and brand authority, balancing long-form blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions.
- Optimize site structure, metadata, and internal linking strategies to improve search rankings.
- Manage backlink-building initiatives, collaborating with PR and influencer teams to drive domain authority.
- Monitor organic growth KPIs (keyword rankings, traffic, engagement, conversion rate).
- Work with content creators, designers, and video teams to ensure SEO-driven content remains engaging, relevant, and brand-aligned.
Influencer & Community Marketing
- Develop and execute an influencer marketing strategy that balances both brand-building and performance-driven outcomes.
- Manage influencer relationships, content collaborations, and affiliate partnerships to scale social proof and UGC.
- Whitelist and repurpose high-performing influencer content for broader distribution (email, paid ads, organic social).
- Leverage community marketing (UGC, ambassador programs, referral incentives) to increase organic reach and brand advocacy.
- Collaborate with video editors and content strategists to optimize influencer content for maximum conversion impact.
Organic Social & Brand Growth
- Develop and manage organic social media strategies for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta, ensuring brand storytelling aligns with engagement goals.
- Create content that is platform-native and optimized for audience behavior, ensuring a strong organic presence without over-reliance on paid.
- Monitor social performance metrics and iterate based on engagement data.
- Implement viral and trend-based content strategies to maximize reach.
- Work with in-house content teams to test creative variations and maximize engagement performance.
Data Analytics & Attribution Measurement
- Develop and manage reporting frameworks that track marketing efficiency across all digital channels.
- Implement first-party data strategies to offset post-iOS14 tracking limitations.
- Use GA4, Triple Whale, or Northbeam to assess full-funnel attribution and performance.
- Analyze CAC, LTV, retention trends, and organic growth KPIs to refine marketing decisions.
- Use performance insights to continuously refine marketing strategies, creative production, and customer experience initiatives.
Paid Media Strategy (Lower Priority, but Critical for Scaling Profitably)
- Manage and optimize paid advertising efforts across Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring efficient CAC and ROAS.
- Run structured creative testing (hooks, messaging, formats) to systematically improve ad performance.
- Develop high-impact ad creative strategies and iterate based on engagement and conversion data.
- Integrate paid and organic strategies for a holistic, full-funnel marketing approach.
- Work with designers and video editors to produce high-converting paid media creatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably managing multiple brands.
- Proven success in lifecycle marketing, organic growth, and content-driven acquisition.
- Strong experience with SEO, including technical optimization, content strategy, and backlink management.
- Ability to guide creative teams and influencers to produce high-converting content.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and marketing attribution platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam, GA4).
- Experience with Shopify, email automation (Klaviyo preferred), and SMS marketing platforms.
- Experience managing and optimizing paid ad budgets ($50K+/month) while maintaining profitable ROAS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies.
- Proven experience in scaling brands profitably from $1M to $5M+.
