Role Description

The Marketing Specialist supports the execution and optimization of state-level marketing initiatives by delivering actionable insights, managing cross-functional coordination, and ensuring effective partner collaboration. This role is responsible for:

• Analyzing competitive trends
• Evaluating promotional performance
• Supporting third-party brand partnerships
• Monitoring customer sentiment to inform data-driven decision making

This role will support the West Virginia market and is highly collaborative and analytical, serving as a key support function that enables the broader marketing team to drive performance, enhance customer experience, and maintain competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field required
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, analytics, or related field
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and translating insights into recommendations
• Experience working with performance metrics, dashboards, or reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization or project management tools is a plus
• Cannabis experience a strong plus

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record
• Must be able to pass all required background checks and screenings
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethics
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time
• Maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details
• Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

Work Schedule

45+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work on occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
