[Hiring] Marketing & PR Director @Mothers to Daughters

Role Description

The Marketing & PR Director will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives to elevate M2D’s brand, expand community engagement, and support program growth. Reporting to the Board, this leader will drive brand awareness, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. The Director will oversee marketing campaigns, media outreach, digital strategy, community events, and partnerships, while aligning efforts with M2D’s mission of empowering young women through mentorship. This role also involves leading a high-performing team, managing budgets, and supporting fundraising and membership growth through compelling storytelling and targeted outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
• Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies, including social media management, content marketing, and analytics
• Strong track record of building and maintaining media relationships, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to develop and manage substantial marketing budgets and track ROI
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and project management software
• Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in nonprofit sector or women's empowerment initiatives preferred, with a passion for mentorship and community building

Requirements

• Serve at the organization for 1 year
• Ability to meet and collaborate weekly via Zoom, Google Drive, Microsoft and Slack with the team
• Ability to attend monthly Team All Hands via Zoom
• Approximate time commitment: 10 hours monthly
