Role Description

This remote role supports the administrative side of an existing marketing program. You will:

• Update approved contact details
• Check for obvious duplicates
• Note entries that cannot be matched confidently

The marketing team decides the message and who may receive it; your responsibility is to keep the supplied online list accurate under its instructions.

A request might provide:

• A corrected email address
• A revised organization name
• A note that a contact should be reviewed before another message is sent

Read the source carefully and find the right record. If two people share a name or an entry appears in more than one place, stop before combining records. An incorrect merge can make the next communication confusing or send information to the wrong person.

You may work in a spreadsheet or a web-based contact system. Your tasks include:

• Comparing changes with existing fields
• Entering only what is supported by the request
• Checking the saved result
• Keeping a short note of anything pending another person’s decision

If the team has a process for a contact’s communication preference, follow it precisely; do not add someone to a list simply because their address was found online.

Some assignments involve:

• Identifying returned messages
• Flagging contact entries with missing fields

Your work is to flag these for review or make a permitted correction, not to guess at private information. When a colleague later opens the list, they should be able to tell what was changed and why a particular entry remains unresolved.

Qualifications

• Careful reading
• Basic spreadsheet confidence
• Ability to compare similar records
• Customer service experience (helpful but not required)
• Office administration experience (helpful but not required)
• Open to applicants beginning a career in either area

Requirements

• Part-time or full-time availability
• Hourly rate of $29.50 - $32.50
• Remote work with private handling of contact data
• A home office or similarly suitable workspace
