[Hiring] Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer @EPAM Systems

Role Description

We are seeking a Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join a newly established EPAM team taking over an existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud engagement from the client's current service provider. The team will be responsible for implementing and supporting marketing campaigns for the US market, with activities spanning development, customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement.

Operating as an AI-native delivery team, we leverage AI tools and AI-enabled SDLC practices across development, testing, documentation, and other delivery activities. The Developer will work closely with the SFMC team, client stakeholders, and UX/QA resources provided by the external vendor.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with client requirements
• Support integrations between SFMC and existing enterprise platforms to ensure reliable data flows and consistency
• Participate in team and client meetings to align on progress, requirements, and technical needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve development issues, ensuring stable and reliable platform performance
• Contribute to technical documentation, including workflows, technical designs, and integration points
• Manage assigned development tasks independently and proactively escalate risks and blockers
• Collaborate with BA, other Developers, UX, QA, and external vendor teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Contribute to the adoption of AI tools and AI-enabled development practices as part of the team's AI-native SDLC

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience developing solutions on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Foundational knowledge of SFMC architecture and basic integration techniques in enterprise environments
• Understanding of compliance and data sensitivity relevant to MedTech or other regulated industries
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and tight delivery schedules
• Effective collaboration skills within a medium-sized cross-functional team and with external vendors, including proactive task management with the ability to handle multiple assignments independently
• Detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining code quality
• Capability to communicate technical topics effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to learn from senior team members and actively contribute to technical discussions and documentation
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
• Availability to work with partial overlap with US business hours when required
