Role Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Google Ads & Local Services Ads (LSA) Specialist to build, launch, and optimize campaigns for multiple home service clients. A major part of the role is setting up LSA accounts, getting them through Google’s verification and screening, solving account issues with Google Support, and keeping lead flow consistent. This is an execution-focused, internal-facing role for someone who gets into the accounts and does the work, not someone who oversees others managing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Set up, launch, and optimize Google LSA accounts from start to finish
• Troubleshoot verification delays, suspensions, and performance issues, and work with Google Support until they are resolved
• Create, manage, and optimize Google Search, Performance Max, and Display campaigns
• Conduct keyword research, build campaign structures, and write conversion-focused ad copy
• Manage client budgets of $2,000–$5,000 per month and prevent wasted spend
• Listen to recorded lead calls, classify lead quality, and submit LSA disputes when eligible
• Track and optimize CPL, qualified lead volume, and CAC
• Prepare weekly internal updates, monthly performance reports, and Looker Studio dashboards
• Work closely with the Head of Google Division and the internal account management team

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Google Local Services Ads (mandatory)
• Proven experience setting up LSA accounts and navigating Google’s verification and screening (licensing, insurance, background checks)
• Experience managing Google Ads campaigns for home service businesses (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodeling, electrical, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Google Search campaigns, bidding strategies, keywords, and negative keywords
• Experience working directly with Google Support to resolve account issues
• Experience reviewing recorded calls and evaluating lead quality
• Solid understanding of conversion tracking, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
• Strong analytical skills (CPL, qualified lead volume, CAC)
• Ability to manage multiple accounts independently with strong attention to detail
• Strong written English communication skills
• Nice to have: Google Ads Editor, Performance Max, Display/remarketing, GoHighLevel, Looker Studio, call tracking
