[Hiring] Freelance SEO Specialist @MarketFully

Role Description

Know how Malaysians really search? We’re looking for a Malay SEO specialist to join a long term project with a global automotive and mobility technology brand.

• The client’s blog articles start life in US English, each with its own SEO brief.
• You’ll turn those into Malaysia ready briefs, so the localised articles rank with Malay searchers rather than just reading well.
• It’s steady, flexible work that fits neatly alongside an in house role or other clients.

What you’ll do:

• Research keywords and search intent for the Malaysian market.
• Build SEO briefs from an existing US brief and blog post, covering keywords, headings, meta details and other on page elements.
• Adapt terminology to how Malaysians actually search, rather than translating the US keywords.
• Deliver around 15 briefs a month. Most take 30 to 60 minutes each.
• Cover mobility and automotive topics for a consumer audience.

Qualifications

• Native level Malay, based in Malaysia, with strong knowledge of local search behaviour.
• At least 2 years of SEO experience. You understand keyword research, search intent and on page structure, not just rankings reports.
• Hands on experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs or a similar tool, with a current subscription.
• Automotive or mobility experience is a bonus.
• Reliable turnaround on agreed deadlines.

How to apply

Send your CV and, if you have them, a couple of examples of SEO briefs or keyword research you’ve worked on. The project kicks off in November, so we’re reviewing applications now.
