Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to support the ongoing execution, optimisation, and reporting of our digital marketing activities. This role is execution-focused with an expectation that will also provide improvement suggestions based on performance data and prior experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Google Ads (SEM)
-
Manage and maintain existing Google Ads campaigns
-
Conduct keyword research and optimisation
-
Monitor budgets, bids, ad performance, and conversions
-
Update ad copy and extensions as required
-
Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce cost per lead
-
Adjust Ads on a weekly basis to support the demand of the courses
-
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
-
Perform keyword research and tracking
-
Optimise on-page SEO elements (meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal links)
-
Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic
-
Conduct competitor SEO analysis for targeted keywords
-
Flag technical SEO issues and provide recommendations
-
Google My Business
-
Maintain and update business information on the company’s business page
-
Regular sync between Google and Bing places listing
-
Email/SMS Marketing
-
Build and schedule email marketing campaigns (currently using Mailchimp)
-
Design email templates aligned with brand guidelines
-
Assist with list segmentation and basic automation
-
Track performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and suggest improvements
-
Assist in scheduling and implementing SMS marketing campaign
-
Design & Marketing Collateral
-
Assist with design of digital flyers, brochures, and basic marketing materials
-
Prepare assets suitable for digital use (and print where required)
-
Reporting & Analysis
-
Prepare monthly performance reports, including:
-
Google Ads (SEM) results
-
SEO performance and keyword rankings
-
Competitor analysis for key search terms
-
Summarise insights in clear, non-technical language
-
Highlight trends, wins, issues, and improvement opportunities
-
Competitor Analysis
-
Report on Competitor Analysis for popular keywords rankings across all the training courses
-
Keywords Gap Analysis
-
Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
-
Proactively analyse campaign and channel performance
-
Suggest optimisation ideas and best-practice improvements
-
Identify new keyword opportunities and content ideas
-
Implement approved changes efficiently
Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a Digital Marketing VA or similar role
-
Hands-on experience with Google Ads and SEO tools
-
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp or similar)
-
Graphic design experience using tools such as Canva
-
Strong reporting and analytical skills
-
Excellent written English and ability to follow instructions
