[Hiring] Director of Marketing @Stay AI

Role Description

Stay AI is looking for a Director of Marketing who is equal parts strategist and doer. You’ll own the marketing function end-to-end:

• Competitive positioning: Deep understanding of Stay AI’s platform, the Shopify subscription landscape, and our key competitors.
• Sales enablement: Arm BDRs and AEs with the decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and monthly messaging playbooks they need to win.
• Product marketing: Translate product launches and feature releases into market-facing narratives that resonate with DTC brands.
• Content and channel strategy: Own our presence across LinkedIn, the website, email, and whatever channels move the needle.
• Market narrative: Control the story. Define what we're attacking each month, which features we're spotlighting, and how we're positioning against the competition.
• Marketing leadership & reporting: Own the marketing strategy and results at the leadership level.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with exposure to ecommerce, DTC, or the Shopify ecosystem.
• Prior success in product marketing and/or growth marketing roles.
• Experience operating at or near the leadership level.
• Ability to build a market narrative that creates urgency with buyers.
• Proficiency in AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for market research and content personalization.
• Proficient in Salesforce or HubSpot and understanding of marketing and sales data connection.
• Ability to write copy for messaging frameworks, landing pages, email sequences, and sales collateral.
• Understanding of the sales motion and support for a revenue team.
• Ability to defend positioning in discussions with the CEO and Head of Sales.
• Ability to move fast, iterate, and not wait for perfect.
