Role Description

The Director of CAIT (Creators, Affiliates, Influencers, & Talent) helps oversee the EMEA CAIT team (priority markets UK & DE), reporting to the VP of CAIT EMEA and dotted line into the SVP, CAIT @ VaynerX.

This role is a leader who goes beyond simple procurement to set the standard from the initial brainstorm through to the final assets, ensuring the department’s output is cast for relevance, directed for quality, and optimized for views, working hand in hand with our Creative department.

• Oversee the strategy and operations for sourcing diverse makers and talent to fuel clients’ brand channels.
• Bridge the gap between the CAIT team and the cross-functional team.
• Drive efficiencies and proactive problem solving for key accounts.

• Collaboration: Partner with Client Partnerships, Strategy, and Creative leadership to architect CAIT-led campaigns.
• Leadership: Train the team to proactively pitch CAIT-led concepts in sync with Creative.
• Quality Control: Define and enforce the standard for Excellence.
• Virtual Directing Protocols: Establish frameworks and training for Modern Production.
• Mentorship: Manage and develop the CAIT team.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee end-to-end operations of the CAIT pillars.
• Margin & Efficiency: Monitor the financial health of CAIT projects for EMEA.
• Risk Management: Serve as the escalation point for CAIT negotiations or usage rights issues.
• The Subject Matter Expert: Serve as VaynerMedia’s internal authority on CAIT.
• External Representation: Represent VaynerMedia at industry panels, events, and new business pitches.
• Trend Analysis: Turn trends from the creator economy into actionable business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in social media, creative advertising, or talent management.
• Creative/Operator Hybrid: Taste level to improve creative work and manage budget/timeline.
• The Seller Mindset: Comfortable articulating business value of creators.
• Practitioner Empathy: Understand friction points of making content.
• Servant Leadership: Create an environment that fosters health, development, and inclusivity.
• Emotional Intelligence: Convert stress into practical optimism.
