Role Description
SimpleClosure is seeking a Community Manager to directly support our partnerships team and help elevate our brand’s presence nationwide. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our community-building efforts, curating and executing memorable events that bring together key players in the startup and legal ecosystems. This position reports to the Head of Growth.
- Event Planning & Execution: Organize and host small dinners, lunch-and-learn sessions, and networking events across the country.
- Conference Engagement: Plan and coordinate our participation in industry conferences and tech weeks, ensuring we make a lasting impact.
- Community Building: Cultivate relationships with founders, lawyers, and VCs, creating authentic connections and fostering a strong community.
- Travel: Organize company events and conferences, traveling approximately 30% of the time.
- Swag & Gifting: Manage the design, ordering, and distribution of branded swag and thoughtful gifts for events and key partners.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the partnerships team to align event strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Budget & Logistics: Handle event budgets, vendor relationships, and all logistics with precision and creativity.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track event success and gather insights to continuously improve our community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years in field marketing, event planning, or a related role — startup or legal experience preferred.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
- A knack for designing memorable experiences on a budget.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet.
- Strong team player who thrives on cross-functional partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Compensation: $75,000 - $135,000 (depending on experience)
