[Hiring] Communications and Marketing Lead @Beam

Role Description

We’re looking for a creative, hands on and fast paced Communications and Marketing Lead to build brand awareness and drive pipeline in Australia.

You'll own the strategy and execution of all communications and marketing efforts in Australia, including but not limited to:

• Content creation
• Sales enablement
• Events and field marketing
• Demand generation
• PR

You’re a full-stack marketer, with a strong sense of ownership. Whether your skills lean more towards growth, content or field marketing, you’re happy to get stuck in with all channels and develop new capabilities in a supportive team environment.

You’ll be:

• Becoming an expert and trusted partner in your vertical, working closely with Sales and Customer Success to proactively identify opportunities
• Regularly speaking to customers to develop a deep understanding of frontline work and AI
• Forward planning your integrated Marcomms strategy with high ownership to design and execute on a range of activities including:
• Customer stories via our website, video, blog, one-pagers and social
• PR, partner and influencer marketing
• Sales and CS enablement via slides, outreach sequences, training and ABM
• Demand generation via paid and organic channels
• Events and field marketing including conferences and customer dinners
• Webinars, podcasts and virtual events
• Long form thought leadership including ebooks and research reports
• Newsletters and email communications
• Spotting and crafting “the story opportunity” whether that angle is AI, social care, employment, human interest or data-led
• Building influencer networks with membership bodies and trade press

• A doer who enjoys the craft of writing and satisfaction of getting stuff done

Qualifications

• A high level of autonomy and ownership
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in social media, content marketing, PR, events, email marketing and/or demand generation
• Hunger to level up your Marcomms capabilities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Creativity to write the playbook with support from other Marcomms Leads

• Ability to swiftly learn and use tools like Hubspot, Webflow, Figma, and Customer.io
