Role Description

Tallwave seeks an AEO/GEO Specialist who will be a key technical contributor to Tallwave's AI Visibility service. This role involves:

• Measuring the baseline and diagnosing brand absence from AI responses.
• Shipping fixes within large organizations and proving the movement was ours.
• Working at the intersection of marketing, technical SEO, data, automation, and AI.
• Operating, verifying, troubleshooting, and improving automated processes.
• Reporting to the Head of Delivery while collaborating with strategy, product design, and marketing teams.
• Taking ownership of AI Visibility tooling, automation, measurement methodology, and service capabilities as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical SEO, marketing engineering, growth engineering, marketing analytics, web development, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience using AI/LLMs in marketing, search, analytics, automation, or development.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL, with a habit of automating repetitive tasks.
• Strong technical SEO and web fundamentals.
• Experience working with APIs and automating workflows.
• Deep familiarity with structured data and entity optimization.
• Experience getting technical changes shipped through enterprise engineering queues.
• Clear writing skills suitable for technical specifications.
• Experience presenting findings to clients or senior stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate technical problems independently.
• A demonstrated curiosity about AI systems and a willingness to learn quickly.

Requirements

• Build and run a repeatable AI visibility measurement instrument per client.
• Use analysis to guide broader marketing strategy based on visibility findings.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring client and delivery needs.
• Automate prompt execution and scoring across various AI platforms.
• Audit crawler access for training and retrieval bots.
• Diagnose rendering, redirect, canonical, and JavaScript issues.
• Design and implement the entity layer with structured data.
• Contribute to the content strategy for AI visibility.
• Implement real changes directly in client CMS and tag management.
• Lead and influence client marketing and engineering teams.
• Measure impact honestly using control prompt sets and crawler activity logs.
• Build, monitor, and version-control the pipeline in Python.
• Design and run experiments to test hypotheses about AI visibility.
• Document repeatable processes and technical learnings.
