Role Description
The UnitedLex Contracts Services Group is excited to hire a Temporary Contracts Manager into our expanding, dynamic team to support existing client relationships by assisting the client in its sourcing department. This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from throughout Mexico.

Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle: draft and review new contracts, amendments, and addendums; negotiate terms from initiation to close; and assist with localization of global Avaya templates for other regions.

Provide legal support to sales and partners: join sales calls for legal representation, answer pre- and post-contracting questions, support partner renewals with correct Terms & Conditions, and deliver RFP support (NDAs, non-standard agreements), including specialized handling of Government RFPs and SACC clauses.

Maintain contract operations and insights: keep the central DocuSign contract repository current, track key dates (renewals, expirations) and manage renewals, and analyze/report contract performance and key metrics for Sales or leadership.

Serve as the primary privacy contact and operational lead: respond to internal and external privacy inquiries, manage and fulfill information access requests, and conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects or systems.

Oversee privacy governance and compliance: stay current with Canadian privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA), develop and update internal privacy policies, and provide employee training.

Support corporate governance and regulatory obligations, including renewals of corporate filings, lobbying registrations, accessibility reporting, corporate record management, and responding to security clearance inquiries.

Monitor and advise on compliance with key Canadian federal and provincial legislation (e.g., Labour Code, Employment Standards Acts, accessibility laws such as ACA/AODA, CASL, and Quebecβs Bill 96), and review marketing and communications materials for legal and regulatory adherence.

Conduct legal research and provide operational support, including assisting with English-to-French translations of legal and contractual documents to meet language requirements.
Qualifications

Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree and professional legal qualification, including successful completion of the national bar or legal profession examination.

3β6 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements in a reputable law firm or international corporate environment, ideally within technology companies.

Experience in SLED (State, Local, and Education) and commercial contract negotiation.

Proficiency in reading and writing French to support Quebec requirements, with availability to work in Eastern or Central Time zones.

Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to read and write French to support Quebec requirements (French considered an asset, not mandatory).

Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of commercial contracting principles.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with legal, business, and external stakeholders, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and sound business judgment.

High level of technical proficiency, including managing contracts throughout their full lifecycle with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail, and adaptability in an international environment; advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and new systems.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role reflects the range of factors that inform case-by-case compensation decisions including education, experience, training, licensure, certification, and geography as well as the business and organizational needs specific to the role. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is MX$720,000 to MX$840,000 per year. Select roles are additionally eligible for Incentive Compensation in the form of our Annual Performance Bonus Program or Sales Commission Policy.
