Role Description

We’re looking for a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (Civil Litigation practice rights) to take on a supervisory property litigation role in our Legal for Lettings team.

Legal for Lettings, part of PIB Group, is our specialist legal and compliance team supporting the lettings side of the business, ensuring all tenancy, landlord and tenant matters are handled in line with current legislation and best practice.

• Oversee a varied property litigation caseload (standard possessions through to complex trials)
• Direct and supervise paralegals, signing off work before court issue
• Focus on quality, strategy and risk - not billable hours or line management
• Work mainly on residential repossessions, plus wider property disputes via our hybrid in-house/private practice model
• Educate the business and clients on changes like the Renters’ Rights Act 2025, with chances to deliver webinars and articles

Qualifications

• Practicing Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with Civil Litigation rights
• Strong Landlord & Tenant litigation experience (desirable)
• Enjoy supervising, mentoring and setting litigation strategy
• Want UK-wide flexibility with only ad hoc travel to Lincoln/Chester
