Role Description
This role involves providing high-quality service and proactive solutions to customers as a Sr. Litigation Specialist/Corporate Rep.

Review lawsuits for potential deficiencies and provide recommendations as to the viability of a negotiated settlement versus continued litigation.

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and claims-related software applications.

Use technological knowledge of estimating and repair methods to review and compare estimates for overlap, pricing, understanding of proper industry standards and repair options.

Audit complex residential and commercial open claim files for accuracy and completeness.

Record results of open claims audits and present findings in meetings with Legal Management and Adjusters.

Perform analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve technical and procedural aspects of claims handling.

Identify Adjuster coaching opportunities and communicate findings to management.

Participate in legal meetings as requested by Claims Managers.

Assist VP of Legal and Claims QA in identifying training needs and developing training materials.

Take over the adjustment of complex claims identified as on track to go to the legal department.

Maintain appropriate diary on pending claims.

Report all suits, time limit demands, and mediations.

Maintain knowledge of current industry developments, case law changes, and best practices.

Forward files with subrogation potential for collection in a timely manner.

Make referrals to SIU as warranted.
Qualifications
-
5 Years of Florida first and third-party homeowner claim handling experience.

4 Years of litigation experience.

3 Years of liability experience.

3 Years of technical experience with estimating software and repair methodology.

Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, an industry-related field, and/or equivalent education required.
