[Hiring] Senior Legal Editor @Axiom Talent Platform

Role Description

Axiom is looking for an accomplished Senior Legal Editor - Commercial to provide approximately six months’ parental leave cover and support a leading legal knowledge team. In this role, you will monitor legal and regulatory developments and maintain practical guidance, precedents and clauses across advertising, marketing and broader commercial law, including sponsorship, unfair contract terms, ESG, termination, force majeure and novations. You will apply strong legal research, analysis and drafting skills to translate complex developments into clear, practical and commercially relevant resources.

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments across commercial, advertising and marketing law, including novations.
• Assess the impact of legal developments on existing resources, guidance and precedents.
• Update Practical Law content, including guidance, clauses and precedents, to ensure it remains accurate and current.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis across areas including sponsorship, unfair contract terms, ESG and commercial contracting.
• Review and update content covering termination, force majeure, novations, boilerplate and equipment hire agreements.
• Translate complex legal developments into clear, practical and commercially relevant guidance for legal professionals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ post-qualification experience with strong commercial contracts expertise.
• Top-tier law firm training, with experience advising across a broad range of commercial matters.
• Ideally, in-house experience within advertising, marketing or a related commercial environment.
• Excellent legal research, analysis and drafting skills, with a genuine interest in detailed legal research and knowledge-based work.
