[Hiring] Senior Internal Security Investigator @GEICO

Role Description

GEICO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Internal Security Investigator (SIU) to join our Special Investigations Unit. This role is responsible for:

• Conducting complex investigations involving suspected insurance fraud
• Gathering and analyzing evidence
• Interviewing involved parties
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to support fraud detection and prevention efforts

Successful candidates will possess strong analytical skills, be dependable, have a growth mindset, a friendly demeanor, sound judgment, and a commitment to integrity and professionalism. Compensation is based on location and experience.

Schedule will be M-F 8-4:30 PM. This is a fully remote position.

Qualifications

• SIU experience is preferred (not required)
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Must be able to handle heavy claim volume and stressful situations

Requirements

• Annual Salary: $36.63 - $57.49
• The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to:
• The scope and responsibilities of the role
• The selected candidate’s work experience
• Education and training
• The work location
• Market and business considerations
