[Hiring] Senior Insurance Litigation Attorney @Robins Kaplan

Role Description

Robins Kaplan LLP is seeking an experienced senior attorney to join our Insurance Catastrophic Loss / Litigation Practice group. This role can be fully remote, hybrid remote, or fully onsite.

• At least 8+ years of experience handling complex insurance coverage matters and related litigation.
• First-party property insurance experience strongly preferred.
• Substantial experience analyzing coverage issues and advising insurer clients on high-exposure claims.
• Litigating disputes arising from catastrophic losses and other complex first-party property matters.
• Experience with bad faith claims, large-loss property matters, and technically complex cases preferred.
• Responsibilities include managing a high-volume and sophisticated docket, handling all phases of litigation.
• Working closely with partners and clients on coverage analysis, strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and related matters.

Qualifications

• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Wide-ranging litigation experience, including depositions and pre-trial motion practice.
• Experience handling high-exposure and technically complex cases.

Requirements

• Bar admission in states in which you are or have been licensed to practice is required.
• California admission is a plus.
