Role Description

Join a Florida commercial law firm's real estate practice as a mid-level associate supporting sophisticated transactional work. You will contribute to complex property deals and work closely with experienced attorneys and clients across the real estate sector.

• Handle acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional documents.
• Work with partners and practice leaders on developer-focused matters for investors, funds, REITs, businesses, and family offices.
• Support complex mixed-use, redevelopment, transit-oriented, and cross-border real estate projects.
• Advise on Florida real estate matters, including local counsel work referred by out-of-state law firms.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide practical, client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.
• A JD from an accredited U.S. law school and strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Leasing, development, or hospitality transaction experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Base salary: $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience.
• Eligible for a year-end bonus upon meeting a 1,900 billable-hour target.
• Relocation assistance and Florida Bar costs are covered for out-of-market hires.
• Standard benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
