Role Description

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a preference for candidates with 15-20 years of experience
• Proven ability to handle cases independently from start to finish
• Experience taking and defending depositions, including liability depositions
• Trial preparation experience is essential
• Must be licensed to practice law in California
• State and federal experience is preferred
• Trial experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Manage a caseload of 45-50 personal injury cases, including slip and fall, car accidents, and medical malpractice
• Oversee cases from inception to resolution, demonstrating strong organizational skills
• Conduct depositions and trial preparation, ensuring thorough readiness for court
• Travel throughout California for trial appearances
• Collaborate with a paralegal and case manager to support case progression
• Engage in negotiations to secure favorable settlements for clients
