Role Description
A PI Attorney is in charge of taking a case through litigation and getting the best possible compensation for our clients. This involves preparing every case as if it were to go to trial, and also helping the pre-litigation side as support. This position requires a deep understanding of Washington Stateβs personal injury laws, strong litigation skills, and a client-focused approach. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload involving:

Motor vehicle accidents

Slip and fall incidents

Washington workers' compensation cases
Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of professional work experience

Active bar STRONGLY preferred in Texas, Illinois, and Washington

Litigation experience for personal injury

Proven interest in personal injury law, with a passion for assisting clients in their personal injury journey

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Proficiency in drafting legal documents and immigration forms

Ability to follow structured processes and achieve specific KPIs

Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Requirements

Analyze cases to understand the severity of injuries, evaluate the merits of each case, and provide legal advice on possible outcomes and strategies

Work with insurance companies, opposing attorneys, or other parties to negotiate the best possible settlements for clients

Advocate for the highest possible compensation for clients, including damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, and other losses

Represent clients in court during hearings, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials when a settlement is not reached

Review and file legal paperwork, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests, within the required deadlines

Stay current with changes in Washington state personal injury law to ensure accurate advice and effective representation
