Role Description

A PI Attorney is in charge of taking a case through litigation and getting the best possible compensation for our clients. This involves preparing every case as if it were to go to trial, and also helping the pre-litigation side as support. This position requires a deep understanding of Washington State’s personal injury laws, strong litigation skills, and a client-focused approach. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will handle a diverse caseload involving:

• Motor vehicle accidents
• Slip and fall incidents
• Washington workers' compensation cases

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional work experience
• Active bar STRONGLY preferred in Texas, Illinois, and Washington
• Litigation experience for personal injury
• Proven interest in personal injury law, with a passion for assisting clients in their personal injury journey
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and immigration forms
• Ability to follow structured processes and achieve specific KPIs
• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Requirements

• Analyze cases to understand the severity of injuries, evaluate the merits of each case, and provide legal advice on possible outcomes and strategies
• Work with insurance companies, opposing attorneys, or other parties to negotiate the best possible settlements for clients
• Advocate for the highest possible compensation for clients, including damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, and other losses
• Represent clients in court during hearings, motions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials when a settlement is not reached
• Review and file legal paperwork, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests, within the required deadlines
• Stay current with changes in Washington state personal injury law to ensure accurate advice and effective representation
