Qualifications
-
1β4 years of professional experience in IP prosecution, trademark practice, IP litigation, patent analysis, or related legal work
-
Registration or admission in good standing with USPTO, CIPO, UKIPO, a bar association, or another relevant IP/legal authority depending on jurisdiction
-
Experience as a registered patent attorney, trademark practitioner, IP litigator, IP associate, in-house IP counsel, or senior associate in IP practice
-
Technical background in engineering, computer science, life sciences, chemistry, or a related technical field, especially for patent-focused work
-
Strong experience with patent drafting, Office Action responses, prior art analysis, clearance opinions, FTO analysis, trademark prosecution, or IP portfolio review
-
Excellent written communication skills and high attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
Requirements

J.D., LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent legal education may be relevant depending on jurisdiction and project scope
-
Technical education or professional background in engineering, computer science, life sciences, chemistry, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or related fields may be especially valuable for patent work

Practical experience in IP prosecution, IP litigation, trademark practice, patent analysis, or legal technology review may also be valuable
