[Hiring] Patent Attorney @Hoffmann Eitle

Role Description

As a patent attorney (f/m/d), you will be part of our international team and will be responsible for:

• Independently drafting and handling patent applications
• Responding to examination reports from patent offices
• Direct contact with clients and representing their interests in opposition and appeal proceedings, including oral hearings
• Contributing to expert opinions on the legal status and infringement of intellectual property rights
• Handling complex patent infringement proceedings

The position can also be filled at our offices in Düsseldorf or London.

Qualifications

• Excellent university degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical or scientific field of study
• Certification as a German and/or European patent attorney
• High level of professional commitment
• Keen interest in current technical developments
• Ability to apply knowledge in a targeted and practical manner for clients
• Very good English skills, ideally acquired during a stay abroad
• German skills are desirable
