Role Description

Conducting legal research and analysis on a variety of real estate-related issues.

• Drafting legal documents, including contracts, lease agreements, and eviction notices.
• Assisting with the preparation of legal briefs, affidavits, and other legal documents for court filings.
• Organizing and maintaining legal files and documents.
• Coordinating with external legal counsel and other stakeholders as needed.
• Keeping track of important deadlines and ensuring all legal matters are handled in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the review and negotiation of contracts and other legal agreements.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant laws and regulations in the real estate industry.
• Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferably with a focus on real estate.
• Strong knowledge of legal research methods and sources.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and property management regulations is a plus.
