Role Description

As a Paralegal at Vupico ©, you will play an integral role in supporting our legal team by conducting research, assisting with legal documents, and providing administrative support. You will work closely with our attorneys to ensure the smooth functioning of our legal department and help us achieve our business goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to be part of a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and depositions
• Identify and gather relevant information from various sources, such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other relevant documents
• Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• File and maintain legal documents in accordance with company procedures
• Assist with the preparation and organization of case materials
• Communicate and correspond with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings and conferences
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate setting
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and terminology
• Familiarity with legal database systems and research methods
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
