Role Description

Join a commercial law firm's real estate practice as a mid-level associate handling sophisticated transactional matters. You will work with partners and clients on active Florida real estate deals, including development-oriented transactions.

• Handle acquisitions, dispositions, and financing matters across a varied real estate deal pipeline.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional documents.
• Work with partners and clients, including developers, investors, funds, and family offices.
• Advise on complex matters involving mixed-use projects, condominium redevelopment, transit-oriented development, and cross-border investment.
• Support Florida real estate matters referred by outside law firms, including local counsel work.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a major law firm or strong regional firm.
• A JD from an accredited U.S. law school and strong academic credentials.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the Florida Bar.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
• Leasing, development, hospitality, and developer-focused deal experience are beneficial.

Benefits

• Base salary is $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience.
• Associates may be eligible for a year-end bonus upon meeting the 1,900 billable-hour target.
